The Blitnauts contract stores each Blitnaut's recipe in contract storage (SSTORE): frame, palette, background and the Blitmap it was redeemed with, plus a compile script. The robot frames themselves, one SVG and one PNG per frame, were written to the chain only as calldata of upload transactions, and the contract keeps just those transaction hashes; templateScriptFor() returns an HTML template into which the collector must paste the frame bytes fetched from those transactions. tokenURI points at an off-chain server.
