RGB stores each token's artwork in contract storage (SSTORE) as three numbers, and get() returns them: the red, green and blue planes of a 16 by 16 pixel image, one bit per pixel. The original contract draws nothing and its tokenURI returns an empty string, so an external script is necessary to render the picture. The pictures on this page are this site's own rendering of those numbers.

The same deployer wallet later deployed a separate RGBRender contract (October 2026), which the original contract does not reference. Its renderer is built into the contract: tokenSVG and tokenURI read the three numbers from the original contract and return the picture as an SVG data URI, so the artwork is retroactively recoverable on chain.
