Lenia's token parameters and starting cells, and the JavaScript and WebAssembly engine that grows them, were written as calldata of logMetadata() and logEngine() transactions to a companion metadata contract, whose storage holds only those transaction hashes. Neither contract renders anything; the team's generator page on IPFS and Arweave reads the transactions and runs the engine in the browser. tokenURI points at IPFS, where each creature's GIF and MP4 live.
