Kohi Kintsugi stores each token's seed in contract storage (SSTORE), and a renderer contract wired in at launch computes the pixels on chain through beginRender() and render(). Those calls return raw pixel data in chunks over many owner-only calls rather than an image, and assembling the image needs an external script and a node without gas limits. tokenURI() points at an off-chain server whose metadata serves a PNG on IPFS.
