face.png is a collection of small pixel faces, each one a PNG file the contract writes itself. A token's id is its face: the contract packs a base colour, an inversion flag and the three glyphs the face is made of, left eye, nose and right eye, into a single number and mints that number, so the id and the artwork are the same thing.

The alphabet is seven eyes, three noses and seven colours, and a face is minted only if its combination of eyes and nose has not been taken, which caps the collection at 147. One face, o_0, was drawn by hand and minted with the contract as the deployer's own profile picture; the rest were rolled at mint, at a price that started at 0.00013 ETH and rose 8.2 percent with every token sold.
